Jan is an avid quilter since 1973 and has been teaching, judging and collecting quilt memorabilia since the mid eighties.   She also is a Co director of The Vermont Classic quilting retreats with Mary K Ryan now in their 18^th year.  Jan & Mary have been collaborating on quilts for almost twenty years.  Their work has been featured in many quilt magazines, calendars and quilting books.
